"In a Meehanite licenced foundry in Germany the have been using the simulation software CastCAE Advanced and CAD software form•Z since 1997. They have made over 140 simulations from castings with different materials (flake & SG iron and steel). During this time they have had no trouble; all castings have been sound as seen in the simulations. They have had a lot of cost savings (sound castings and less expensive castings). This foundry produces castings on automatic moulding lines and hand-mould castings in furan resin sand, up to 8.000 kg for the mining, hydraulic, wind power station, general engineering and special engineering industries. This foundry is ISO 9001 certified."
